From November 1-December 16th, all hostesses that hold a workshop that earns $575.00 in sales earns a FREE COLLECTION OF CLASSIC STAMPIN' PADS!!!!! You get to pick from the Regals, Brights, and Subtles Collections! This is an additional $64.95 value for you on TOP of the standard hostess benefits!!!
And as part of the book-a-thon, I will throw in a free stampset of your choice valued at $20.00, just for hosting! The one catch--you have to book a workshop today to get the free stampset!
As a hostess, you provide the friends and a few snacks, and I provide the project to do. It's up to you, it can be at my house or yours, whatever works best for you!
Please send me an email if you are interested, and we will work together to pick a date. Also, if you don't think you know enough people, you might be surprised! I've attached out 40 people in 4 minutes worksheet to help you think of people to invite!
Can't wait to hear from you!
Thanks!!!

Crop & Create Ottawa
I was extremely fortunate to be able to attend Crop & Create in Ottawa hosted by Scrapbook & Cards Today magazine. You may be thinking, what does this have to do with Stampin' Up!??? Well, Stampin' Up! was one of the (many) fantastic sponsors! And I learned a ton that you'll be seeing in upcoming classes!
I took all 6 classes being offered (and I'm planning to go to Markham and am hoping to do the same thing in February--well worth it in my opinion!).
Here's some photos:
Catherine from Scrapbooks & Cards Today
Kelly Goree--Who's work I've admired for YEARS!
And here`s the 2 classes I took from Kelly G.:
Her Designers Dozen layout class
And her Paper Mixology Class
And then there is Kelly Purkey. I`ve also followed her blog for years. If you ever want to follow a scrapbooker that concentrates on scrapbooking her MANY trips, hers is a great one!
From Kelly P.`s Stampendous class.
And from her Misting & More Mini Album Class
And then there is Vicki Boutin. She always makes me laugh. And she concentrates on my favorite thing: TECHNIQUES!!!
From Vicki`s Technique Saavy class (or bootcamp as Catherine refers to it--And I loved it!!!)
And from her Easy, Detailed, Expert Class
AND THEN...there were the Make & Takes:
These were only some of the Make & Takes included in our goodie bag (there is more--I just don`t have them done yet!).
And these were some of the Make & Take Classes that were available (I ran out of time, and didn`t get them all done)!
It was a FANTASTIC weekend and well worth going. I made some new friends, and had a great time.
And, one last thing, I stayed at the Hotel Indigo. I love the mural:
Hopefully I`ll have more for you after Markham in February!

Hamilton Stampin' Up! Regionals
I keep forgetting to post about the Regionals!!
In August, I was very fortunate to attend the Stampin' Up! Regionals in Hamilton with my upline Amanda and her mom (who later signed up as a Demonstrator!!!). We had a great time and I met a ton of other demonstrators, some of the Stampin' Up! Staff and....Shelli Gardner, the co-founder of Stampin' Up! (who is extremely sweet and friendly!). I had a great time, participated in some swaps to get a ton of new ideas, took a ton of photos (around 500--mostly of new ideas!). And although I haven't blogged about regionals yet, you've already been making some of the card ideas I got!
The Stampin' Up! theme of the year!
A photo of the room and everyone hard at work (this is probably the shortest side of the room--I thought I had a better shot then this!)
Shelli herself!
The project Shelli demo'd (this is only part way through--it was absolutely stunning!)
One of the MANY ideas they gave us. This is a project Shelli and her daughter did for a class back in Utah.
There were a TON of giveaways. This was a stampset I had kept looking at in the holiday catalog and had just about ordered!!!
And then there were the make & takes! These were the 3 different make & takes we did. My favorite part--they use only 2 stampsets (1 image set, 1 sentiment set), it was a set I hadn't really considered, but I now LOVE, and they gave us 3 different ideas on how to use them (and there were even more ideas on the idea boards at the back of the room!).
Now--for the bonus part for you guys: I'm going to teach these 3 make & takes. Because of the holidays, it won't be until January, but look for more details soon!!

With Sympathy
This is another one that I saw at Regionals (see a theme here recently). Unfortunately not sure who designed the original, but I LOVED it. I attached a photo of it when I sent my newsletter right before this class, and everyone wanted to make it!
Supplies:
Basic Grey Cardstock
Whisper White Cardstock
Basic Black Cardstock
My Friend Stampset
Loving Thoughts Stampset
Basic Grey Ink
Sponge
Versamark
Clear Embossing Powder
Heat Gun
Basic Black Ink
**Hint: Sometimes, with clearmount stamps, I snip them in to two pieces to get more use out of them. You do need to be careful doing this, but it does work. Make sure that there is space between the 2 parts that you want to divide and use a pair of really sharp scissors. You do void any warranty doing this, but to me, its worth it to get more use (and you can always put them back together on your clear block if you want to use them together).

Grandparents (or other family members)
This is another one that was based on a card I saw at regionals (I apologize, I`m not sure who did this one), but for those with a big shot, this is a fantastic example of the several different things you can do with the big shot!
We did this one for grandparents day this year (although due to my schedule, we might have done it a little after grandparents day, but it would work to drop any grandparent a quick note throughout the year). You can also change the stamp (and still use the Loved Ones Stampset) very easily.
Supplies:
Night of Navy Cardstock
Gumball Green Cardstock
Whisper White Cardstock
Designer Series Paper in Real Red Polka Dot
Bigz Lattice Die
Big Shot
Textured Impressions Square Lattice
Sizzix Sizzlits Lots of Tags
Night of Navy Ink
Real Red Ink
Gumball Green ink
Sponge
Loved Ones Stampset
**Heres a quick hint: The Lots of Tags Die cuts both the oval and the Decorative Frame and perforates between them. I cut them in Whisper White, detached them, and then inked the Decorative Frame the blue**
