I [Heart] Hearts

To change things up a bit, this is a card that I was taught before I became a Stampin' Up! demonstrator by my friend Lindsay (who was a demo at the time). I [Heart] Hearts was a fantastic collection of various heart stamps! We also used the air brush on this one. You can find the I [Heart] Hearts set here. Enjoy!

Full of Life!

I'm disappointed this set is being discontinued! It was one of my favorite sentiment sets! Although in two of these cards you can't see the insides where I used the stamp, this is a great set for both the inside and outside of your cards. You can find Full of Life for sale here. Enjoy!

Kid Day

This weekend I spent a ton of time taking photos of completed projects! To start, I thought I'd begin sharing the past projects that include retiring product--seeing as the retired product will only be available for 2 more weeks! So, first one up, the cards from kid day:
The kids had a ton of fun with these Mothers & Fathers Day Cards! We used the following stamp sets and dies: Beary Nice Wishes stampset Bear Stampin' Up Bigz Die Beary Boy Stampin' Up! Sizzlits Die Beary Dressy Originals Die Beary Essentials Stampin' Up Bigz Die Beary Girl Stampin' Up! Bigz Die Remember, these products are only available for a limited time and some, only as long as supplies last. Enjoy!

Happy Mother's Day!

In celebration of Mother's Day today, I thought I'd post the mother's day cards from recent classes. The Build-a-Bear set was used at the kid's cardmaking class recently (and they each did one for Father's Day at the same time--and the kids really got into it and their cards were way more creative then mine!!!), and the Mom card was done at our April Stamp-A-Stack. Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms out there!

May 8th Newsletter

Hello Everyone, Welcome to my weekly newsletter! New Promo! For the May Stamp-A-Stack, sign up and bring a friend (make sure to RSVP for you both) that has never come before and receive a $5 gift certificate towards your next class or next order. Please note that this offer only applies to “friends” that have never come to one of my classes or in-home workshops before. Want to earn some free products? There are two different ways. The most successful way is to host an in-home workshop! All the workshops I’ve done have worked really well. All you have to do is provide a workable area, a few munchies, and some friends! I bring all the materials, and we do a make and take card or scrapbook page (your choice) to introduce your friends to the possibilities of Stampin’ Up! at no cost to you or your friends. Then, if your friends are interested, they place an order from the catalog. Each order adds to your total. The larger the total, the more free product you earn! And, to help you out, get $100 in orders, and I’ll place an additional order myself that counts towards your total! You also get a free copy of the current Idea Book & Catalog. The last 2 workshops landed the lucky hosts over $75 of free product! Let me know a date that works for you. Another option is to host a catalog party. Although not as successful for the hosts (those familiar with Stampin’ Up! tend to place orders, but most people like to see products before purchasing), a catalog party is still a great way to earn free product without a ton of work. And, get $100 in orders, and I’ll place an additional order as well to top up your totals! Please let me know if you are interested, and I'll get a kit to you right away! Afraid you don’t know enough people? Ask me for our 40 people in 4 minutes worksheet. I was a bit sceptical, so I gave it a shot, and it works really well! Give me a call, or shoot me an email and we can work out some dates that work for you! Book to Look! Book to Look is a new game we’re going to try at the May Stamp-A-Stack. I will have a series of prize packages. When you agree to host a workshop, you get to pick a surprise from one of the packages! When you host your workshop, I will order your prize so that as an added bonus, your prize counts towards your total sales to help increase your incentive! This weeks news from Stampin’ Up! × New Digital Studio items were added on Tuesday × The retired stampset list was added on April 15th, and on the 25th, the retired accessories and décor items were posted. There’s been a lot of confusion as all of the stamp pads have been discontinued. The colours are staying (except the in-colour 2010-2012 colours which were scheduled to retire this year any how), just the way the stamp pads are made is changing. If you are having difficulties ordering any product online, please let me know. There are a few products that Stampin’ Up! knows will run out before June 1st, but most are fine at this point in time. And not to worry, most tools are being phased out only to be replaced with a newer, better model! × April 30th was the last day to order from the occasions mini catalog and the summer smooches pre-order series. However, there is a carryover list for the occasions mini catalog here http://www.stampinup.com/ca/documents/CarryOver_Occassions_0412_US.pdf × However, there were some carryover stampsets added this week!!!! See the chart below for the product numbers: Stamp Set Name Item Number Wood-Mount Clear-Mount Baby Prints 125470 125472 Love & Laughter 125475 125477 Bordering on Romance 125480 125482 Apothecary Art 125525 125527 Mixed Bunch 125535 125537 Tea Shoppe 125545 125547 Mouthwatering 125675 125677 Loving Thoughts 125843 125845 Salon de thé 125934 125936 Etiquetas florales -- 125941 Art floral 125964 125966 × It was also announced this week that with the new catalog, they’ve increased your chances of earning hostess products when you host a workshop by adding some new levels in between existing levels! See me for more details. × Stampin’ Up! is going to be releasing a new version of My Digital Studio late 2012. Already own My Digital Studio? You’ll be able to purchase an upgrade! Retired Stampsets Stampin’ Up! just released their retired stampsets. The last chance to buy these sets is May 31st…..because the new catalog is being released on June 1st!!!! View the retired list here http://204.228.150.61/docs/lastchance/en-CA/RetiredStamps_0412_en-CA.pdf . A number of you were interested in a charity event, and for my first one, I thought I’d take advantage of the retired stampsets. I’m still working on the list, but shortly I’ll have a list of used, discontinued, stampsets that I will be selling off. These stampsets will be available at a greatly reduced price, and the proceeds will be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society (with so many family members affected by cancer, this is a cause near and dear to me), starting in June.
